The French are known as one of the most passionate rugby playing nations. Lets show them how passionate Kiwis can be!!
There has been speculation that the French aren’t putting up a full strength team, tell that to Richie and the boys after they have come out from under the first ruck and see what they say! The All Blacks need a great performance to set them up for the knock out stages of the competition so lets get behind them with a rousing #Twaka
Starting Friday 23rd at Midday (NZST) we will post the lead verse of the Haka on Twitter from our @Toreawines account.
Lead Post – #Twaka “Ringa pakia – Uma tiraha – Turi whatia – Hope whai ake – Waewae takahia – kia kino”
Once you see this post everyone joins in with the three Haka verses (three independent tweets)
1) #Twaka #RWC2011 “Ka mate! Ka mate! – Ka ora! Ka ora! – Ka mate! Ka mate! – Ka ora! Ka ora!”
2) #Twaka #RWC2011 “Tenei Te Tangata Puhuru huru – Nana nei tiki mai – Whakawhiti te ra”
3) #Twaka #RWC2011 “A upane ka upane – Upane, Kaupane – Whiti te ra”
See you at noon on Friday !!
Go the All Blacks !!!
Cheers
Stuart

The Twaka has been around for a couple of years now. It started in 2009 during Maori Language week. Since then it has been supporting the All Blacks pre game. For more information you can read about it here.
